Spelling Bee!!!!!!
Tonight was the spelling bee for my school. It was a competition between about 30 students, including two of my best friends. I won! Now I get to go to regional, and if I win regional, I get to go to state, and if I win state, I get to go to national, and if I win national, I get a 25,000 dollar college scholarship, 500 dollars to spend, and a free trip to the Galapagos Islands. The regional bee is on the 13th of Febuary. I will do a post to say how I did on that. The hardest word that I had to spell was fajitas ( really, fajitas?) Anyway, I'm just so happy that I won!

Well aren't you something, Ellie. Congratulations!!! I remember two of my daughters participating. Elissa won hers once, too. Good luck on the 13th and I will anxiously be waiting to hear how you did.
