Ode To Lil' Pinky

Ode to Lil’ Pinky

O Pinky, O Pinky, O Pinky-o,
Is there a certain way that you must grow?
Up in the sky, or down in the ditch,
There must be a place to fit your wish.
How about an airplane or a desert so dry?
Of course there’s a place that you will try.
Is there a way I can make you happy?
Like some cool clear water or a bird named Snappy?
What is it you say? A simple thing?
You make me feel like a bird with wings!
Read books, play music, a sunny room,
Lots of water, never put you in a tomb.
Be kind to you, and never punish,
And never turn any of the other plants blackish.
That is all you want? You want no more?
Oh, I can throw myself on the shore!
O Pinky, O Pinky, O Pinky-O,
Now I have found the way that you must grow!
